Intercom System

Intercom systems communicate from distant locations to a central control center. For example, if someone is attempting to gain access to a secured area without access control, or if access control is present and his/her card was lost or forgotten, the individual could activate the intercom system to the central control center to request entry. Intercom systems provide two-way communications between the control and remote stations. Intercom can also provide video if required.

Emergency communication systems allow individuals to signal an emergency situation to a monitoring location. The emergency situation could include duress, panic, health, etc. The communication back to the monitoring location could be disguised so as not to alert the perpetrator, or it could be very obvious (sirens, strobes, etc.) so as to possibly scare the perpetrator from his/her act. These systems can be stationary towers or boxes located in remote areas (parking lots, garages, etc.), or they could be devices carried on the person to signal an alarm. Towers or boxes could include an intercom station for notification and video capabilities for surveillance of the situation
